Calling all local residents! Andover Trees United invites families, friends, and neighbours to join us for a Community Tree Planting Day at Bury Hill Meadows. This event is part of the final year of planting at Bury Hill, offering a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on your local environment. 🌳
Participants will help plant native trees, learn about conservation, and enjoy the outdoors alongside your community. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome!
What to Bring:
- Gardening gloves (provided if needed)
- Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear
- A sense of fun and community spirit!
Facilities:
- Hot drinks and biscuits
- Porta-loos & hand-washing stations
- Gazebo shelter
- Limited on-site parking (car-sharing, walking, or cycling encouraged)
- Entrance marked with colourful flags
Additional Info:
- Free event, open to all ages
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- Photographs may be taken for promotional purposes; please notify staff if you prefer not to be included
