By undertaking epilepsy training you're helping us create a safer world for people living with epilepsy, because no one should go it alone! We regularly offer training to the community at a discount rate (this training is free for People living with epilepsy, their family members and their unpaid carers).
Community training covers the following courses:
- Understanding & Managing Epilepsy (UME)
and
- Emergency Medication Administration (AME - please note that UME is a prerequisite for the AEM course)
This training is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and proficiency required to understand and effectively manage epilepsy.
It also provides guidance on the proper administration of prescribed emergency medication—a crucial skill not covered in standard first aid training courses.
Upon completion of this session, attendees will receive a certification valid for a period of two years.

Cost:
$100 per person for Understanding & Managing Epilepsy
$180 per person for both course
