Community Talk: Marijuana, Teens, and Tomorrow Join us on Wednesday, November 19th, for an educational event with a documentary showing from "Johnny's Ambassadors" and a panel/Q&A segment
About this Event

Join us for a powerful and eye-opening event focused on youth cannabis/marijuana use in our community on Wednesday, November 19th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
We’ll begin with a screening of Cannabis-Induced Psychosis: A Silent Epidemic — a compelling documentary that pulls back the curtain on a crisis that too often goes unnamed. Told through the voices of young people who have lived through psychosis and the parents who tried to hold them together, the film offers an unflinching look at how high-potency THC can fracture lives and upend futures.

Families share their hardest moments as they search for help and face a system with few answers, while doctors provide clinical insight and young people reflect on what it felt like to lose touch with reality—and how they found their way back.

This film is provided by the nonprofit Johnny’s Ambassadors as a community service to raise public awareness about the dangers of youth THC use.

Panel Discussion & Q&A

Following the 45-minute documentary, stay for a community panel featuring law enforcement representatives and local agency professionals.
Panelists will discuss marijuana-related issues in Marinette and Menominee Counties and provide their expertise and education related to the topic within their professional field.
A short Q&A session will follow the panel discussion.
