About this Event
Are you curious about who really designed the Indiana state flag?
On Friday, December 13 at 5:30pm, join local author and historian Dave Reddick for a community study session all about the history of Indiana's state flag!
The evening includes remarks from Indy Reads CEO Ruba Marshood highlighting the significance of flags and cultural diversity, and a craft station for participants of all ages to create their own flags.
This event is open to participants of all ages.
Proceeds from sales at Indy Reads support our English literacy programming for more than 400 adult learners each year.
The Indiana Flag: Who Really Designed It?
Dave Reddick's The Indiana Flag: Who Really Designed It? chronicles the efforts by our state's chapter of a national organizing group to push Indiana lawmakers to adopt a unique and official state flag.
