Bring the whole family and join us for an afternoon of fun and learning with a variety of STEM exhibitors from around the region. This event is FREE and RSVP is not required (but helps us plan!). - Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin: "Creek Critter Meet and Greet"
- Personal Genetics Education & Dialogue (PGED): Learn about gene editing and other genetics topics, share your perspectives on genetics applications, and engage with other attendees in an interactive card activity.
- Dr. Jim Rudert: A regular around the Science Center, Dr. Jim Rudert is a retired engineer with a passion for science, education, and making. This month he'll be demonstrating his can crusher and materials detective exhibits.
- The Blair Robot Project: Come check out their robot and try your hand at driving it around. Visitors can also make straw rockets, bristle bots, and light prints as part of their exhibit.
- Panda Programmer: Panda Programmer will use hands on demonstrations to show kids how to use Scratch coding language.
- Rockville Mathnasium: Bringing math to life with fun games and math concepts
- Boolean Girl: Check out our hands-on activities and demonstrations on how to code a micro:bit. The micro:bit is like a tiny computer that can be coded to run sensors, lights, motors and more.
