About this Event
Community Sound Sessions are a weekly Wednesday evening gathering where sound, stillness, and community come together in a shared space for rest and renewal. Each session is a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect through the gentle power of sound.
Guided by intention, you'll be immersed in calming soundscapes created with crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other vibrational instruments. These sounds are designed to ease tension, support the nervous system, and invite a deep sense of calm and clarity.
Sound works by using frequency and vibration to shift the body and mind into a more balanced state. As the sounds move through you, there's space to release what no longer serves and return to your center.
This is a space for anyone seeking a moment of quiet, a deeper connection with themselves, or simply a mid-week reset. Come as you are, settle in, and let the sounds support you.
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and/or bolster for under your knees, water bottle, a journal if you like, eye pillow/eyemask for added darkness if you prefer.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts. The Doors will be closed at 7:00PM sharp, and any late arrivals will not be permitted to attend.
There is plenty of free parking at the Fisherman's Hall.
***You may also e-transfer $40.00 to avoid Eventbrite fees - this can be sent to [email protected]. Please make sure to include the date you are registering for and your email in the notes.***
If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a subsidized ticket. These community-focused sound baths are meant to be accessible to anyone in need of a little self-care.
What to Expect:We’ll start with a gentle guided meditation to help you arrive, settle your energy, and set intentions for the session. You'll then be immersed in the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls and healing soundscapes, inviting deep rest, inner exploration, and a nervous system reset.
As the sound bath comes to a close, a grounding practice will support your return to the present moment, leaving you with a sense of clarity and calm. Afterward, there will be space for quiet journaling, integration and community connection
