Join us for our summer Community Song Circles!Songs will be taught in the oral tradition by song leader Hella Wartman. No music or lyric sheets will be used, and no singing experience is necessary. We'll be singing a variety of rounds, layer songs, zipper songs and call & response songs being passed around by song circles around the world. As a community song circle, all voices are valued and welcome! This song circle is an invitation to experience the joy of singing in a safe space with others.
Community Song Circle - Third Thursday of the Month
June 20 and July 18
4:30-5:30 (or 6:00-ish if the group wants to sing on!)
$5 - $10 suggested donation per evening
Remember to bring a water bottle to keep your voice hydrated.

Meet your Song Leader: Hella Wartman has a lifetime of experience singing in ensembles and community choirs. She has participated in song leadership training and Full Voice coaching over the past 10 years. Hella has hosted many song circles in Minneapolis and Duluth, with monthly offerings at UUCD and Spirit of the Lake Community Arts this past year.
