Join us for an open community sing on Tuesday, September 9th, to bring together members of the community to learn, rehearse, and record the piece “We Shall Overcome", a song deeply rooted in the American Civil Rights Movement. Long noted as an anthem of hope, resilience, and strength, it was closely associated with the Highlander Folk School in Monteagle, TN in the 1950s and 60s.
