There will be 2 trucks for shredding from 9 am to 1 pm located at the Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center. Habitat for Humanity will also be present to collect household items.Habitat for Humanity accepts all kinds of furniture, kitchenware/appliances, tools, electric fixtures/plumbing, landscaping items, etc. They do not accept beds, paint, or clothing. All items should be usable/clean, etc.
Each household may bring up to five standard size copy paper boxes or five grocery-sized bags of personal, confidential documents.
Examples of items acceptable for shredding:
- Bank information and canceled checks
- Outdated bills
- Medical information
- Staples & small paper clips
- Obsolete invoices
- Mortgage and loan information
- Letters, envelopes, ledgers
- Other clean paper
