Can I see my items shredded on site?
No. Documents are placed in large trash bins, locked, and transported to their Gahanna location for shredding.
What types of items can be shredded?
All paper documents. Please refrain from pictures, binder clips, rubber bands, and paper clips. These destroy shredding blades. Staples are ok.
Can I leave my box?
No, we cannot dispose of boxes or plastic bags. Paper bags are acceptable.
What should I expect when I arrive?
This is a drive through type of event. Volunteers will help you unload your bags/boxes into the bins and collect your donation. NOTE: Boxes will be emptied into the bins and returned to you. Paper bags are accepted though. The line can be long at times, but it moves fast. Be prepared and follow volunteer instructions so that the traffic continues to flow.
What if I don’t have anything to shred, but I just want to donate?
Absolutely. Any donations are always welcome and appreciated.
How much does it cost? Recommended $5/box or bag to defray our cost. Any and all donations are accepted.
What type of payment is accepted?
Cash or Check made out to Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Can I drop stuff off ahead of time?
No, unfortunately we have no way of storing items ahead of time.
