Join the Texas Exes Houston Chapter for a morning of service at the Houston Food Bank! Whether you're a UT alumnus, supporter, or friend of the chapter, we invite you to roll up your sleeves and help fight hunger in Houston.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
- Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (4-hour shift)
- Location: Houston Food Bank, 535 Portwall St, Houston, TX 77029
- Age: adults and minors (with supervision) 11+
What We'll Be Doing: Volunteers will work on the production floor sorting, inspecting, and packing food items that will be distributed to our neighbors in need throughout the Greater Houston area. No special skills required—just bring your energy and willingness to serve!

- Closed-toe shoes (required for safety)
- Comfortable clothing
- Layers (the warehouse can be cool)
