Please join the Health and Arts Collaborative — a partnership between the College of Health Solutions and the ASU Art Museum — along with the ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering for a moderated panel discussion on substance use and harm reduction.Panelists will share their expertise from research, clinical practice, health systems and community-based perspectives.
Following the discussion, guests are invited to take a guided tour of the exhibition "Michelangelo Lovelace: Art Saved My Life." Michelangelo Lovelace (1960–2021) was a Cleveland-based painter who transformed his experiences with poverty, addiction and incarceration into powerful works of art that depicted both the struggles and the resilience of inner-city life.
Museum entry is free.
