You're invited to Community Safety Night hosted by Cross of Christ Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 25th from 6:30-8:00pm. This is open to the community, be sure to invite your friends and family! Doors open at 6:00pm
Hear from local law enforcement officer John Ormston, who
will discuss crime prevention tips, common scams and how to reduce your chances of becoming a victim along with other helpful tips.
Lori Halbur, Coon Rapids Social Worker, will discuss mental health and provide information regarding services available to the community.
You will also have an opportunity to meet Gizmo, the police department's Wellness Dog. He is a three year old black lab, similar to a therapy dog.
