Grant Rix, one of our Resident Teachers, has generously offered to lead a Community Sadhana Practice on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.2-Oct-24: The Sadhana of Buddha Amitabha and the Heart of Interbeing
All are welcome; entry by dana (donation). These teachings will not be streamed.
Description
Buddha Dharma, indigenous wisdom, philosophies of deep ecology, and modern sciences such as complex-systems theory all point to the same reality – all phenomena, ourselves included, are multilayered patterns interweaving with multilayered patterns resulting in unique expressions of being alive in the world. Everything is connected to everything else, so much so that no individual “thing” can ever be found. Instead, all phenomena are the temporary result of the unceasing dynamic flow of interbeing, where each manifestation is empty of any defining characteristics and yet appears as an integrated whole that is more than the sum of its parts.
On the first Wednesday of each month, Grant will lead an exploration of the richness of visualisation and mantra practice through the lens of interbeing. The intention of these sessions is to strengthen threads of connection, exploring how we together, can nurture the growth and unfolding of a community that is more than the sum of its parts, which in turn supports the growth and unfolding of each individual practitioner.
