WHAT IS "SADHANA"?
Sadhana is a devotional practice of cultivating a deeper connection with Spirit / Source / the Universe.
Through regular practice, we create harmony in our lives and promote well-being in body, mind and spirit.
When we practice Sadhana as a group, we can uplift ourselves, our community and our surroundings. With the purity of our intention, we start the day with an expansive awareness, a sense of well-being in our physical bodies, and a connection with the Oneness of all that is.
WHY SO EARLY?
The golden hours before sunrise are known as "Amrit Vela". This is the most beneficial time to practice Sadhana.
For 2 1/2 hours before sunrise, the sun is at a 35-degree angle to our location, allowing the magnetic field of the earth to be at rest. When Mother Earth is at rest, we can nourish her with our psychic energy and give back to her through our gratitude and devotion.
It is also a time when the veil between realms is thin allowing us to access higher states of consciousness.
“After Sadhana, I wasn’t tired at all. I felt calm and energized for the rest of the day!” — Lauren — previous attendee of Community Sadhana
