About this Event
Career & College Bound Hennepin is exploring ways that Children’s Savings Accounts (CSAs) could impact the lives of children and families in Hennepin County. We are working to engage stakeholders, partners, and community members in co-creating a model for our community.
In this session, we will explore:
- How CSAs can help to build a college-going identity in kids, youth, and families.
- How CSAs can strengthen systems of support for families across education, healthcare, and more.
- How to cultivate partnerships, build systemic change, and influence local and state policy for CSAs in Minnesota.
- How CSAs can work together with the new North Star Promise Program to increase access to college and career training.
We invite you to participate in this Community Roundtable event and collaborate to design a possible CSA model for Hennepin County and co-create strategies to increase access to college and career training for all in our community.
Lunch will be provided starting at noon.
