Bonus Thurs night community ride! Join Chain Reaction for some unpaved fun - an introductory ride to Sac & Fox and the LAMBA singletrack (weather and river levels permitting)!We'll meet at Prairie Park Fishery, and depart at 5:30pm (earlier than before thanks to sun setting earlier). We'll plan to ride in two groups - one on the dirt singletrack (a subset of Locust, Ash, Maple, Baby Birch), and one on the crushed limestone multiuse trail.
If you've ever wanted to try out mountain biking, these are some beginner friendly trails, and a no-drop ride where nobody gets left behind. However, this ride is not suited for skinny road tires or recumbent bikes.
Bring lights! Although this ride won't be as many miles as our MM@M rides, gravel and single track miles are much slower than paved miles. It may be dark-ish on the return trip.
These are no-drop rides, so all paces and ages are welcomed and encouraged! Grab your helmet, pack some water, and let's roll!
