About this Event
Every story has a start, but some beginnings carry magic that draws us in.
Join former Cupertino Poet Laureate Kaecey McCormick for an enchanting evening exploring “Magical Beginnings” in poetry and prose. Dive into how beginnings create portals to worlds of possibility, moments of transformation, and glimpses of the extraordinary. Whether you’re a writer, reader, or simply a curious soul, come discover the magic that lives in every start.
About the event:
The evening begins with an overview of the topic presented by Kaecey, followed by select readings by guest authors. We end with a community open mic session. **All community members** are invited to share a poem or prose excerpt (up to two minutes) on ANY SUBJECT. You can share your original work or someone else's piece that you love.
