About this Event
Please note: When you book for this event you are booking for the whole series of workshops
The Community Podcast project is about getting women+ (including trans women and non-binary people) in recovery from addiction together to make change in our local community. We'll meet regularly to co-design two podcast episodes all about recovery and addiction, including a full day at the recording studio and a launch event.
WHAT YOU'LL GET FROM IT

- Support and celebrate your own and others recovery journey
- Meet women+ who get it and have fun together
HOW IT WORKS
- Free and open to all women+ in recovery from addiction
- Weekly sessions held on Wednesday’s from 5.30-7.30pm in short blocks (see dates below)
- Led by Liz, our Project Worker, who is in recovery from addiction and supported by volunteers

Booking: It's essential that you book a spot for this programme as spaces are limited to 12 max.
Food & drinks: we have snacks & hot drinks available for free, and there’s a free food pantry in the corridor & there is always sandwich ingredients in the kitchen so just ask.
Children: This group isn’t suitable for children, however, we will have the Pink Room available for older children to relax and play. All children must be supervised by a parent/caregiver. If this is barrier for you, please get in touch and we can organise a mobile creche.
Transport: We are a 12 minute walk from Paisley Gilmour Station and the main bus routes. There is a large car park in front of the building. We will need your registration number on arrival when you sign in for free parking.
Note on the space: we are based in the Embroidery Mill, directly across from Morrisons car park. We’re the mill building without the tall tower nearby. Find out more on our Contact page.
