Community Pinewood Derby and Vendor Fair

Scouting America Unit 314 will be hosting our 4th annual Community Pinewood Derby Fundraiser on February 28th from 11am - 3pm. Car check ins will be from 9:30-10:45!
NO LATE CHECK INS!
No touching the cars after checking them in!
We will have a maker/bake sale for items the scouts have made as well as fun games/activities. There will be local vendors and food trucks available!
This is a fundraiser to help the scouts pay for summer camp and other fun scouting adventures!
Car kit and a race registration is $17
Race registration is $10, if you want to use a car you've already made.
We are hosting two different races, BSA Rules and Outlaw. Each car is only allowed to enter one race.
The BSA Rules race will follow the BSA Pinewood derby rules found here: https://www.scoutshop.org/pwd-rules .
For the outlaw race, the only rules are that the width shall not exceed 2-3/4 inches, and it cannot damage the track or interfere with other cars, your car however MUST break a rule to qualify to be entered in the outlaw race.
Each race will have an adult category and a youth category!
The winners will receive a medal and certificate. 1st place for each will get a car kit.
Youth category will be 17 & under
Adults will be 18 & over
The person registering the car for the race must be the person that made the car! If you want to make your child a car to race, it will be entered in the adult category!
