A peaceful evening of cleaning our communityThe health of our cities is equally as important as the health of our bodies. Join us for an evening of nurturing both our neighborhood and our minds while connecting with your community.
With the support of Denver Parks and Recreation, the group will start the event by doing our part to keep the lake looking beautifu by mulching trees, removing debris, weeding and raking . After cleaning up, the group will reconvene for a short, grounding, sound healing with Healing Sounds By Brother . Social hour will follow immediately, with food provided by Sloans Lake Tap & Burger and drinks provided by Deki Distillery & Elevat 38 .
Sloans Lake: Thursday, June 24th 5-7 PM
-Corner of 17th & Meade
-Bring plenty of water
-Closed toe shoes are required
-Wear clothes that you can do yard work in
-Bring work gloves (if you have them)
-Bring blankets, chairs or whatever else you want to hang out on for snacks and drinks
This event is free and open to the public. Donations to the Strength In The City Foundation are always accepted.
