About this Event
Bay Area Turning Point is excited to announce the launch of our new community violence prevention program in the Clear Lake area and surrounding regions. We can't do this alone—we need each of you to join us in bringing our community together. This program is designed to focus on the community as a whole, identifying and addressing risk factors that could lead to domestic and sexual violence. Through human connection, we believe we can reduce and ultimately eliminate the risk of violence.
In an effort to help you understand what we mean by "primary prevention" and to see where you fit into this important initiative, we have two prominent speakers lined up for you. We have Roy Rios, Prevention Director for TCFV and Dr. Leila Wood, Director of Research and Evaluation at The Center For Violence Prevention.
