Join the Community Outreach Committee in supporting The Trail Conservancy's mission to protect, enhance, and connect everyone to the Butler Trail. Soil Restoration: Join in spreading mulch to restore, enhance, and protect the soil on the Hike and Bike Trail! Soil health is the foundation of ecology. The soil restoration events will consist of mulch spreading, aeration of turf areas, amending areas with compost, and establishment of vegetation in bare spots within the areas below. These activities will reduce storm water runoff and soil erosion, enhance slope protection, and aid in W**d suppression before the Texas summer heat starts.
