Community orchard pruning at Ockwells Park

Learn how to prune orchard trees for winter!
A guided session of basic fruit pruning techniques with hands on practice pruning the orchard trees at Ockwells Park.
Meet in the carpark for 10am. The main session will take place in the orchard just a couple of minutes walk away.
Dress warmly with sturdy footwear, and please bring gardening gloves, sharp secateurs and a hand saw if possible. SECATEURS AND HAND SAW MUST BE STERILISED TO AVOID THE SPREAD OF DISEASE (can be with antibacterial gel etc).
Toilets available.
Well behaved dogs welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
