Ready to save the day with your friends and family? Join us at the MetroParks Ice Rink for a day of SUPER fun! Skate to your favorite family-friendly hits, grab some hot chocolate, craft your own superhero, and the first 100 kids will also receive a FREE super hero cape and mask to take home with them. *NEW* Our MetroParks Animal Ambassadors will also be onsite with some live furry (or scaled) friends AND Star Wars characters will also be there for kids to meet.Guests are encouraged to participate in family activities including a featured theme table, coloring pages, scavenger hunt, and Penguin Toss. The Penguin Toss is free to all skaters and takes place at approximately 3pm. Participants will receive a penguin to toss onto the ice, and whoever lands their penguin closest to the target will receive one of three prizes.
Skaters are welcome to relax in one of several warming areas, including a heated comfort tent containing games and seating. The RiverScape Café will also be open, offering a variety of food and drinks (including our delicious hot cocoa!) for purchase. Heroes Unite coincides with our COMMUNITY OPEN SKATE, which includes FREE Admission and Skate Rental.
