Our College is looking forward to welcoming families, friends and community members to our Community Open Night on Monday 22nd September, 5-7pm.This special event is a celebration of student learning and growth throughout the year. Classrooms and specialist learning areas will be open, giving families the chance to see first-hand the creativity, skills and knowledge our students have developed. From projects to thoughtful displays, the evening is a showcase of how our students are growing as learners and young people.
At this year’s Showcase of Learning, we invite you to join The Assisi Adventure – a journey from curiosity to creation. As you explore our students’ work, discover the creativity, innovation, and passion behind their learning. Along the way, keep an eye out for the hidden birds; collect them all to uncover the secret message and go in the draw to win a prize. Come and be part of the adventure!
A highlight of the night will be the Year 8 $20 Boss Expo, where students transform $20 into a small business venture. This program encourages innovation, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking, and we are proud to see the variety of ideas students have brought to life.
The evening is also a chance to connect as a community. Sharing food, conversations and experiences - including a sausage sizzle and drinks ($2 each) - makes this night more than just an open event, it’s a celebration of the partnerships between students, families, staff and our wider community.
We encourage everyone to come along and celebrate the achievements of our students.
