Spending time in nature is one of the fastest ways to boost your health and happiness!
WVLT has teamed up with Trailhead Counseling to create a Mindful Walk along the Elizabeth's Loop Trail in Toms Run. Visitors can participate by borrowing a booklet from the kiosk and following the numbered prompts along the trail.
While this event is free to attend, registration is required for planning purposes.

This 320-acre natural area is owned and managed by the West Virginia Land Trust. The property is open to the public for non-motorized recreational and educational opportunities, habitat protection, and scenic enjoyment. The trails at Toms Run Preserve have been developed and maintained with volunteer support from local boy scouts, corporate trail workdays, and community volunteers.
The West Virginia Land Trust is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting West Virginia’s special places forever. Since 1994, the organization has protected more than 20,000 acres of land, creating outdoor recreation opportunities, safeguarding our drinking water supplies, protecting scenic views and rare habitats, preserving historic sites and family farms, and much more.
