What is the Community Mental Wellness & Resilience Workshop?

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is providing a free, three-hour, workshop for New Yorkers on community empowerment and individual and collective resilience. Workshop participants will be trained to identify mental health issues, develop support strategies, and identify mental health resources within their communities.

Workshop highlights include:

• Mental health warning signs and risk factors

• R.I.S.E: A tool for building individual and community resilience

• Strategies for stress management

• Mental health resources available in NYC
