This event will be community led by members. There will be no official Run Leader on duty.Those attending will need to join the group to participate for communication purposes. Rules of Community - Led Events:
☆ You must be over the age of 18 to participate unless with an adult.
☆ To join the session, you will need to advise the group admin that you are attending. Please message the groups admin by messenger.
☆There must be at least two participants for the Community- Led group to go ahead. Anyone participating on their own do so at their own risk.
☆ Due to light hours reduced, we recommend you wear a head torch or/ and body torch including HI- VIS jacket to keep you safe whilst running around the reservoir which is not lit.
☆To start, everyone should complete a warm up before commencing the activity. Light gentle movements can provide adequate warm up.
☆Hydrate before you start with some water sipping small amounts to prevent cramp or discomfort.
☆Do not eat a full meal before the activity, try eating a banana or some nuts high in protein beforehand allowing at least 30 minutes before activity.
☆When running, stay in pairs or groups, we do not advise that participants run alone.
☆Use the Whats app group set up to communicate with each other regarding attendance and getting home safely.
☆Encourage one another and be supportive.
☆There is no need to provide your number/ card or fob for the session as it is Community-Led.
☆Share any photos with admin and/ or group with permission from.participants for our social media strands.
