Nottinghamshire Police have organised a fun and engaging football tournament which will see children aged 10 to 16 years from across Nottinghamshire compete to win trophies and medals.
Following the success of last years Kick off at 3 tournament, Nottinghamshire Police are launching “Community Kicks” which is based on the concept of a local seven a side grassroots youth football tournament.
It will see up to 48 teams playing mini games of football, challenging themselves to be the best they can be and forming bonds between teammates, peers and professionals.
The age groups are:
• 10-12 years
• 13-14 years
• 15-16 years
There will be opportunities for the community to also get involved in the day with a whole host of fun, engaging activities to have a go at as well as tasty food available to buy too.
The event is free for all to attend, whether you are playing, spectating, or just popping along to have a go at a range of engagement activities.
The tournament is held on the Astro-turf pitches at Gresham Sports Park, off Wilford Lane, NG2 7YF. There is limited car parking on site and across the road thanks to Emmanuel School. Strictly no parking allowed on Wilford Lane to maintain access to the site in case of emergency vehicle access being required. Under 19s and group ticket buyers can get 15% discount on travel to the event by public transport thanks to Nottingham City Transport via the NCTX buses app. Simply enter code KICKOFF24 on the app.
Where can I watch the matches?
All spectators and coaches must remain behind the fenced off area at all times due to limited space on the pitches. Respect between coaches, spectators, players, and referees must be shown at all times. Remember, this is a fun day tournament and is being put on to give young people a fun day of sport.

Please note: This event is not affiliated with Nottinghamshire FA as it is a small fun day tournament run by Nottinghamshire Police on behalf of the community. Rules of play will be shared with team managers prior to the event day on completion of the online form.
