Volunteer support is incredibly important to maintaining Hoyt Arboretum’s tree collection and trail system, and it’s also a unique opportunity for volunteers to learn about and care for trees from around the world!Volunteers can expect to participate in a variety of hands-on stewardship projects that can include invasive species removal, weeding and mulching, brush clearing, trail work, and more. Onsite training is provided.
This is an outdoor volunteer opportunity and will occur rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and be prepared to get a little dirty. Long pants and sturdy, closed-toed shoes are necessary. Bring water, snacks, and any other personal supplies you need. Gloves and tools are provided.
