ACEL-Phoenix invites you to make a difference by volunteering with us at St. Vincent de Paul’s main kitchen on Saturday, November 9, 2024. This is a great opportunity to give back to our community, support those in need, and connect with fellow ACEL members!Event Details:

Location: St. Vincent de Paul, 2120 S 3rd Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85003
Age Requirements: Ages 10-13 with 1:1 adult supervision; ages 16+ can volunteer independently.
Why Your Service Matters: St. Vincent de Paul produces over 5,000 meals daily, distributed to five dining rooms and 20 social service agency partners across Phoenix. Your efforts will directly support individuals and families facing food insecurity, providing them with nutritious meals and hope.
Volunteer Duties: Tasks may include food preparation (chopping, dicing, washing vegetables), sorting produce, packaging meals, making sack lunches, distributing essential items to guests, and assisting with kitchen clean-up.
What to Wear: Please wear closed-toe shoes with rubber soles, sleeved shirts, and pants/skirts/shorts that are knee-length or longer. St. Vincent de Paul will provide gloves, a plastic apron, and a hairnet.
