Community Health Profile Training

This three-day training focuses on developing basic epidemiological skills and acquiring, analyzing, visualizing, and reporting on tribal-specific data. We will place a particular emphasis on learning the new Census interface. Participants will learn how to tailor their Census data pulls to retrieve tribal-specific information on various demographic topics to assist with grant writing and reporting. Participants will leave with a data booklet specific to their tribe. The Epi Center will cover travel and lodging costs. Because this training results in a tribal-level data product, we ask the Tribal Health Directors to pass this invitation on to those they deem appropriate to receive and handle this data. We will not allow anyone to participate in this training who does not have Tribal Health Director approval to attend.
