ABOUT GROOVE

In person Community GROOVE in Victoria, BC!
Let's come together to unite, celebrate, connect, play, heal, and get healthy through dance. GROOVE is a delicious and unique way that makes dance easy, accessible and fun for everyone.
Movements are purpose-driven and are designed to build strength in a full range of motion, so that you can feel stable and strong, and live a healthier, more vibrant life! GROOVE incorporates aspects from yoga/pilates/dance/fitness etc. We will learn simple and easy moves from a variety of different dance styles (Hip Hop, Urban, House, Jazz, Bollywood, Latin, African, Contemporary, Swing, Disco and many more!) inspired by all different genres of music with beats you cannot resist!
Absolutely NO experience or co-ordination necessary...this class is perfect for everyBODY!

Location: Sunset Labs - 400 Herald Street, Victoria, BC (at the end of Herald st. through the gates - someone will come up to the gate to greet you starting at 5:45pm)
*NOTE there will be no late entry into class - please arrive on time!

This class is by donation - and no donation is required to attend. Times have been rough for many of us, and we are all needing community so please don't let finances be a barrier to connecting.
Here's what you need to know if you're planning to join us...
- We'll be moving through each other's space.
- Let's practice abundant consent and ask each other before hugging/touching.
- In person space is limited, and is likely to fill quickly. Get your tickets!
