Community Grief Fire Circle (Men and Women)Date: November 14, 2024 | Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Whispers of Nature
Have you ever felt the weight of loss, no matter how big or small? Do you seek a space that honors your grief and allows for healing?
Join us for our Community Grief Fire Circle, a sacred and safe space designed to support you in your journey through grief. In this intimate gathering, we hold space for all forms of loss, recognizing that grief is a personal and unique experience. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, or even the changes that come with life transitions, we invite you to bring your feelings and share what you carry.
Activities Include:
Holding Sacred Space for Grief: Together, we will create a nurturing environment where we can be present with our emotions and experiences. This may look different for everyone—whether it’s through silence, meditation, or reflection, all expressions of grief are welcome.
Sharing Your Journey: Participants will have the opportunity to share where they are in their grief process. This might include poetry, songs, memories, or simply heartfelt expressions. Your voice is important in this collective journey.
Lighting of Candles: As we honor our losses, we will light candles, signifying remembrance and love for those we have lost.
Memorial Altar: We will create a memorial altar that allows participants to display pictures of their loved ones or bring items that symbolize their loss. This altar serves as a beautiful reminder of the impact these individuals or experiences have had in our lives.
We recognize that loss can take many forms—whatever you grieve is valid. Together, we can support one another in navigating the depths of our emotions in a caring and compassionate environment.
This is the first of six Community Grief Circles leading up to a special Grief Ritual from November 1-3, 2024. Each circle will strengthen our connections and provide opportunities for healing together. Join us as we create a safe, sacred space to honor grief and foster healing.
For more information, feel free to reach out. Your journey is important, and you do not have to walk it alone. Together, we can create a meaningful space for remembrance, connection, and support.
Both Men and Women are welcome. Must be 18 years or older, and no pets unless service animals.
We look forward to holding this sacred space with you.
We ask for a donation of $20 to help cover expenses.

A personal note from Danelle
I have experienced loss in many forms in my life, but none took me so far down into the depths of grief than when my husband was unexpectedly killed in a tractor trailer accident 5 years ago. It has been a journey navigating unknown territory, feeling the very essence of every emotion, deciding which way to go, what to do, and trying to rebuild my life.. It has been challenging, full of obstacles, and it still is some days, but I have also found the light, joy and happiness that begin to pierce the darkness and the veil of grief.
I still have challenges reconstructing my life after losing my husband, but today I have conquered many. I stand centered, peaceful, stronger, and wiser, with a heart full of love and gratitude. I have a voice. I have healed through many situations, and I am equipped with practices that will keep me on this path of healing, expansion and growth. I have learned that just about everything we experience is grieving a loss, a loved one, a role, parts of ourselves we left behind, things as we once knew them, and so forth. I have learned how to grow through my pain. How to feel it and release it, how to grieve deeply. My grief is sacred, my grief is gratitude.
Part of my life’s journey is now to hold space for you to grieve, as you grieve, and reclaim the pieces you have left behind, and the new not yet discovered. Allow me to walk with you as you deepen into your healing, find peace, and step over into the threshold of joy. Together we can turn your grief into gratitude. Gratitude comes when grief is fully expressed and our eyes open to the gifts of what it was.
Spending time in the stillness of nature has allowed me to step into these experiences and find the light in the darkness. To bring with me the lessons, strength and courage, and the many parts of me that I had left behind. Nature is a place where I can truly connect, and I can hear the whispers of my soul. In nature I receive clarity, visions, healing, and hear the guiding whispers of wisdom..
Much Love,
Danelle
