HumanitiesDC's 2026 community grants cycle opens December 8, 2025 with three grant opportunities, including:

  • Community Culture & Heritage grant - $10,000 for DC-based individuals and non-profit organizations to create public humanities projects
  • Visions grant - $25,000 for DC-based non-profit organizations to produce public humanities projects
  • Oral History Interviewing grant - up to $13,000 for DC-based individuals and non-profit organizations to collect, document, and archive local oral history interviews
