This series is open to all community gardeners and designed for small groups from each garden, but individuals are also very welcome. Each training will have four breakout sessions: coordination, membership, community building and maintenance, and is offered twice: Once via Zoom and once in-person.
PLEASE NOTE: All in-person trainings take place at Foster Community Center with the exception of the Resource Center orientation on May 3, which will take place at 2401 Marcus St., Lansing, MI 48912.

February toolkit kickoff: Welcome to the Garden Project Network!
- Saturday, Feb. 3 and Thursday, Feb. 8
Preseason jump-in: Community building success
- Saturday, March 2 and Thursday, March 7
Spring opening: Garden administration
- Saturday, April 6 and Thursday, April 11
Resource Center orientation for garden committee members (Takes place at the Resource Center)
- Friday, May 3
Summer breakdown: Garden maintenance and community building events
- Saturday, June 1 and Thursday, June 6
Fall look-ahead: End-of-season activities
- Saturday, Aug. 3 and Thursday, Aug. 8
