Dr. Palmiter has a special interest in how multicultural issues impact mental wellness and traditional clinical work. He is passionate about using evidence-based and time-efficient strategies for promoting resilience and happiness across the lifespan. Dr. Palmiter is a warm and effective psychotherapist who uses a broad range of therapeutic approaches and who regularly weaves magic into his professional services to foster connection, meaning, and joy.
Dr. Palmiter is a board-certified clinical psychologist who has been awarded prestigious Fellow status within the American Psychological Association (APA) in three different APA divisions: The Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, the Society for Media Psychology and Technology and Psychologists in Independent Practice. He is also a past president of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and has received several additional awards for his work.
Dr. Palmiter is a very experienced public speaker and has provided numerous lectures on ADHD for university students (from undergraduate to post-doctoral trainees), as well as public education on ADHD for audiences both national and international. He has led continuing education workshops on ADHD and related topics for licensed mental health professionals across the country. Dr. Palmiter has authored over three dozen publications, including two books on promoting resilience in youth.
