The City of Regina recognizes the ongoing need for reflection and implementation of Indigenous worldview (perspectives, values, priorities) into everyday practices, policies and procedures. This engagement process is one activity that represents the City’s commitment to prioritize mutually beneficial relationships built through ongoing dialogue, collaboration, communication and engagement.The City of Regina and Kihew Consulting & Research are partnering to engage the community to create an Indigenous Framework for the City of Regina.
You are invited to participate in a Community Engagement Session:

Location: mâmawêyatitân centre – 3355 6th Avenue, Regina, SK – Multipurpose Room
Parking: Public/Accessible/Elder parking available in the west (Elphinstone Street) lot

What to expect:
Each session will begin with a short presentation to set the tone and context of the engagement. We will then move into facilitated small focus groups for discussion. The main themes of each of these groups will then be reported in a larger group session. We encourage everyone to speak openly, honestly and respectfully as we share ideas on how to incorporate Indigenous worldview into the City of Regina.
The Indigenous Framework is intended to provide informed, fundamental guiding principles and direction for the City in perpetuity: as long as the sun shines, the grass grows, and the waters/rivers flow.
By participating in this important project, your voice will benefit future generations to come.
