Whether you're an experienced drummer or brand new to the practice, this is a safe and welcoming space to express yourself, release stress, and raise your vibration with the collective heartbeat of the community.
Location: Jordan River Parkway, south of East Riverfront Park [General Area – Exact location pin will be posted 30 minutes prior to event]
Each gathering begins with a short grounding and intention-setting to connect us with the earth and one another. From there, we move into freeform drumming—letting the rhythms rise and fall organically, guided by the energy of the moment. You are invited to bring a drum, rattle, shaker, or simply your hands and your voice. There is no right or wrong way to participate—just come with an open heart.
Bring a drum, rattle, or other percussion instrument (extras may be available to borrow), blanket, yoga mat, or anything that helps you feel cozy on the grass. We recommend dressing in layers for comfort as the sun goes down.
Registration is required to receive updates and the exact drop pin location, which will be shared via Facebook and email at least 30 minutes before the event begins. Be sure to check in before you head out!
This event is by donation only. Suggested contribution is $10–$20, but please give what feels right for you.
