Come join our little community for our drum circle and food share gathering. No experience is needed, this is not a teaching experience just a chance to join together in community to raise our hearts and a few funds for a wonderful project. The Community Open Permaculture Farm is opening their space to us, providing space in their beautiful yurt, to share our hearts and to just be joyful in sound and after to share the food and conversation that we all bring.
Suggested donation to the project is £5.
Bring your drums (extras if you don't mind sharing the experience with others who have not got one yet), and a cushion or something to sit on if outside. NO DRUM? bring rattles, shakers, any instruments or just your wonderful self. Perhaps raise your voice in song or just be part of the atmosphere. Let us make a community of support and sharing.
I am Sue and lead the circle, I am so very thankful to be welcomed to this space and I look forward to watching the project grow and change. I hope that perhaps some of us will want to get involved with the practical side of the project. I would like to make this an affordable event, covering costs for the project and perhaps making some extra income for the farm project so feel a suggest minimum donation of £5 would feel fair, obviously if you would like to give more that would be very welcome. Please note I do not take any payment for holding this circle, glad to support this cause.
There will be a sharing table if you wish to bring a little vegan/vegetarian food to share with the group to make this an even more social event.
We hope to do this regularly, create a sharing group, some self care and supporting a good cause. Sharing the love people. Please check sol havens out for more information.
Just a heads-up, the postcode might lead you to the middle of Harvey Lane. We're tucked at the corner of Fillers Road and Harvey Lane, down a driveway with a brown farm gate. Once through the gate, drive up the slope past the yurt and house on the right, and you'll find convenient parking between the fence on your right and the black bales of hay on your left.
There is limited space in the yurt so please let us know if you are coming **
