Join our community drum circle hosted by Ryan Drozd! This space is perfect for beginners looking to learn djembe drum basics as well as experienced drummers. No experience necessary, all are welcome! Please bring your own drum or shaker. There will be some extra drums and shakers available.
Suggested donation: $10.00.
Ryan started attending drum circles weekly in 2024 to cope with depression and chronic neck and back pain. His goal as a facilitator is to provide open ended polyrhythms that allow others to authentically express themselves through sound. The CT drumming community has provided him with pain relief, relaxation, self-expression, and beautiful rhythms that he wishes to share with others.
