We invite one and all of you to a Valentine's Day Community Dinner and Prom Event at the Berea Friends Meetinghouse. This joyful community building event is a kickoff for our 2025 Fundraising campaign aimed at keeping the Meetinghouse in the possession of the Berea Friends. Entertainment Tickets will be $10, Dinner is free of charge.

HERE IS WHAT TO EXPECT ON FEB 14: opportunities to learn about the important peace and social justice work of local Quakers and beyond, intergenerational games, supervised child and teen hang out spaces, our community meal, a chocolate tasting, keepsake photo booth and frame making craft, a family-friendly two hour dance playlist starting with upbeat and ending with slow vibes --- from local musicians!
In recent years with increasing costs of keeping the building and fewer Quakers to cover them, the question was raised among us to continue at our current location. Groups and individuals who have used our facility as one of Berea's few third spaces enthusiastically said "YES" they want us to continue to make our space available for Quaker and other church services, peace and social justice meetings, family gatherings, celebrations, festivals, homeschool learning cooperatives, Boy Scout and other kids leadership camps, game tournaments, folk dancing, business meetings, etc.
We would love to hear stories from you about how this space has impacted you, your family, or organization. Our goal for the year is to raise $45,000 with your help. Please join us and support our efforts with a donation, coming to this event, and joining other events to come!
