This summer, join us for Community Days at the B&O! We’re thankful for the opportunity to offer free Museum admission on Sat, June 19, and Sundays, July 18 & August 8, so members of our community can enjoy special programs, tours, activities, and free train rides at the B&O.
Join us on Sat, June 19 for the summer’s first FREE B&O Community Day! We’re honoring Juneteenth, which celebrates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, and unveiling the results of the B&O Street Art Project, which selected four local artists to design murals on the theme of connectedness and create them on a caboose here at the Museum. Bring the whole family for a special Juneteenth edition of both the Public and Junior versions of our “From Slavery to Civil Rights” Tours, a free train ride, games, snacks, and more! Then, end the day with a special B&O Street Art Project Art Reception and Artist Talk, with adult beverages available for purchase.
