About this Event
Driving Directions:
Drive past the entrance booth on the main road. Keep driving and the road will narrow to one lane, follow the traffic light and keep going. Once you reach the old trestle bridge, the road will split, turn to the left. Road will end in the Mineral Springs Parking Lot near the Youth Science Center. Go to the end of the parking lot and look for a large green truck that says "Park Volunteers," and you'll know you are in the right spot.
PARKING NOTICE:
Parking passes will be provided upon event check-in.
Note: Parking is inside the park, located in front of the Youth Science Institute. It is about a 3-mile drive from the Penitencia Creek Rd entrance. There will be a few "Volunteer Event" signs along the route to guide you to the parking location.

No experience is necessary! All tools and instructions will be provided. Please bring a filled water bottle, snacks, and wear closed toe shoes.
Dress for the weather! The event will be held--rain or shine!
Please download the Volunteer Service Agreement and bring the form with you to the event. Extra forms are available at the registration table on the day of the event!
COVID-19 Safety Update:
The City of San Jose is no longer requiring volunteers to provide proof of vaccination/booster shots in order to volunteer at City-sponsored events. Masks are not required but are strongly recommended.
Important-- Please stay home if you are sick.
Note: All persons under 18 must have a parent's signature. Community service hours are given for middle and high school students!
