Instructor: Chef Lukas DohertyJoin us for this Community Culinary Course all about sauces! Students will learn traditional preparations of mother sauces. Not sure what the mother sauces are? Take this course to find out! Some you may have heard of, some may be new to you, but each them has a myriad of uses in any kitchen. Chef Lukas will demonstrate the techniques and students will get to practice their saucier skills in class. There will be plenty of samples and leftovers to take home as well as recipes to add to your repertoire. Wow your friends and family at your holiday get together with the most beautiful sauces to compliment any meal!
This is the third course in our Adult Culinary Boot Camp Series. Take just one class or join us for the entire series to get hands-on practice in a wide range of culinary skills. Space is limited, so reserve your seats now!
Community Culinary Courses are for ages 18 and up. Registration for this course will close on Thursday, November 14th at 11:59pm. Class will be held on the UAA Campus in Lucy Cuddy Hall. A release of liability will be provided when you arrive for class and agreement will be mandatory for participation.
