Instructor: Chef Lukas DohertyJoin us for this Community Culinary Course all about knife skills! Students will get hands on experience practicing basic and advanced knife cuts, break down whole chickens, and learning how to care for a knife properly. A brand new chef's knife will be provided for use during class and students will get to take them home to use in their own kitchen. Whether you are new to preparing your own food or a seasoned home cook that wants some classical instruction, this course is for you!
This is the first course in our Adult Culinary Boot Camp Series. Take just one class or join us for the entire series to get hands-on practice in a wide range of culinary skills. Space is limited, so reserve your seats now!
Community Culinary Courses are for ages 18 and up. Registration for this course will close on Thursday, September 26th at 11:59pm. Class will be held on the UAA Campus in Lucy Cuddy Hall. A release of liability will be provided when you arrive for class and agreement will be mandatory for participation.
