About this Event

๐ŸŒฟ Community Cuddles: A Gathering for Healing, Connection & Consent

In a world where weโ€™re constantly connected through screens, we often forget one of the simplest forms of human connection โ€” touch. Science and experience agree: consensual, caring touch can calm our nervous systems, ease loneliness, and help us heal. It can lower stress and blood pressure, release trauma, and deepen our sense of belonging.

Thatโ€™s what Community Cuddles is all about โ€” creating a safe, welcoming space to explore platonic, consensual touch in a structured, respectful environment.

Whether youโ€™re craving connection, healing from past experiences, or simply curious, youโ€™re invited to join us for this warm, heart-centered experience. No one is ever required to touch anyone โ€” simply being present is enough.

๐Ÿ’› What to Expect

๐Ÿ•‘ 2:30 PM โ€“ Arrival & Setup
Settle in, help prepare the space with blankets and pillows, share snacks, and get comfortable.

๐Ÿ•’ 2:45 PM โ€“ Welcome Circle (Required for all participants)
Weโ€™ll open the event with grounding, introductions, and a consent and boundaries workshop. This is where we practice how to ask for โ€” and give โ€” clear, verbal โ€œyesโ€ or โ€œnoโ€ responses.
(If youโ€™d like, you can attend just the Welcome Circle โ€” no touch required.)

๐Ÿ•“ 3:45 โ€“ 5:30 PM โ€“ Open Cuddling
Once the container is set, we enter open cuddle time. You may cuddle, sit quietly, or simply observe โ€” all choices are valid. Remember: you must ask and receive a verbal โ€œyesโ€ before touching anyone.

๐Ÿ•  5:30 โ€“ 5:45 PM โ€“ Closing Circle
Weโ€™ll wrap up by sharing reflections and gratitude before packing up together.

๐Ÿ•• 5:45 โ€“ 6:00 PM โ€“ Clean Up & Goodbyes
Help fold blankets, finish snacks, and say farewell (or plan your next cuddle adventure!).

๐ŸŒธ Event Guidelines

Arrive on Time:
Please arrive before the Welcome Circle โ€” this ensures everyone understands the rules and feels safe. You may leave anytime after.

Come Clean & Scent-Free:
Shower, brush your teeth, and skip perfumes, essential oils, and smoke smells. Your natural, clean self is perfect.

Stay Sober:
No drugs or alcohol before or during the event.

Dress Comfortably:
Think cozy, not sexy โ€” pajamas, sweatpants, or yoga clothes. Please remain clothed (at least shorts and a t-shirt) throughout.

Bring:
Snacks to share, blankets, pillows, or anything that helps you feel cozy. The only required thing to bring is a clean, sober you.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Cuddling with Strangers?

Itโ€™s normal to feel nervous! You might wonder:

  • โ€œWhat if I donโ€™t want to be touched?โ€
  • โ€œWhat if I say yes and change my mind?โ€
  • โ€œWhat if someone says no to me?โ€

All of that is okay. This is a space to practice asking for what you want and saying no when you need to. Youโ€™ll never be pressured to touch anyone โ€” ever. Most people arrive a little anxious and leave feeling peaceful, joyful, and deeply connected.
