Good Shepherd warmly welcomes all to join us Sunday, October 5, from 2-4 pm to help clean up First Creek. We will meet behind First Horizon Bank in the grassy area at the corner of Cedar Lane and Knox Rd. across from Gentry Griffey Funeral Home. All supplies will be provided. We also warmly welcome folks to just hang out under our home base tent, enjoy the camaraderie, and cheer on those piling up the many unique items found along our creeks!
A big thank you to Charissa Oglesby at the City of Knoxville Stormwater Program for helping us with clean-up logistics along with the COK and the Water Quality Forum for providing us with the opportunity to participate in the Adopt-A-Stream Program! Also, a special note of appreciation to Fountain City First Horizon Bank and Manager, Nathan Carter, for supporting us in this effort to keep First Creek clean!
