Community Crafts & Connections is a free, come-as-you-are gathering we are trying to get off the ground, (we as in Amber Joy and Joey Bourdow , just incase y'all wanted to put some faces to who the heck is running this thing). This event is centered on creativity, reflection, and gentle community building. The craft for this group is vision boards. All supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own materials, especially if you know you'd like your board to contain something specific. During this group, there will be two question containers on each table you can draw from. One of the containers has lighter more, keeping-it-general-questions and the other container has deeper, we-are-getting-so-for-real kind of questions. These are simply tools you can use if you want to start exploring conversational spaces with the strangers at your table or getting to know the people you brought with you a little better.
For our quieter, more shy community members we welcome you too! If you’d like to join but would rather quietly zone in on your vision board with minimal conversation, we welcome that💖 We understand that for some being in a space with community is more than enough connection, no conversation needed 🫶🏻
We recognize part of building community is repetition, so we will be hosting this group (different crafts) the last Saturday of every month.
